DNS Capability Issue with Google Apps
1/14/2011 02:19
How can I set the NAME of my TXT record? I do not see this capability with Dynadot, and it is required by Google to use their DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) protocol.

Instructions from Google Apps:

You must update the DNS records for this domain.
To start authenticating email for the domain selected above, enter the following DNS TXT record into your domain provider's DNS settings page. Then click "Start authentication."Back to basic setup
Generate new record
DNS Host name (TXT record name):
google._domainkey
TXT record value:
[removed for security]

More support for this from Google: http://www.google.com/support/a/bin/answer.py?answer=174124&hl=en

Could I be updated upon their response? I'd greatly appreciate it.

At this point in time, we are not able to set the TXT record's name for the Dynadot DNS settings.  I am going to forwarding your request to our engineers to see if this is something we can add to our system.

That is not the correct solution for what I need. Please re-read what I asked. Thank you.
