Use diferent hosting to Main Domain and Sub Domains

Hello

I follow this steps to point my main domain to Hostgator and my sub domain to webhostingpad.

My main domain is online in Hostgator, but my sub domain have an error:

This site can’t be reached
blog.portalmas.info refused to connect.
Search Google for blog portalmas info
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

In DNS > Domain Record I have an A record pointing to the IP of Hostgator
in Subdomain Records I have one A record WWW pointing to Hostgator IP and a second sub domain CName record name blog and pointing to the name server of Webhostingpad.

I tried with an A record pointing to the IP of the name server of webhostingpad to.

Is that correct?

Looks like the name server itself refused the connection. You may want to contact them to decide where the issue is.
