I'd like to learn if it is possible to upgrade my PHP system to 5.3.0 with these modules.

*mbstring (Multibyte String Functions) extension library (see also Installation FAQ(external link))
*PDO database driver for MySQL (pdo_mysql or pdo_mysqli) or Postgres (pdo_pgsql) or MSSQL (pdo_sqlsrv)

Some of our servers offer PHP 5.3 and those modules. If you need the upgrade, you can send an email to [email protected] with your upgrade request and we can proceed.
