I just bought email hosting. I tried testing out my new email addresses by sending and receiving email. I found that I can send email using the dynadot website, but the email addresses don't receive email. Email forwarding doesn't work either. Additionally I can't configure the email addresses with Thunderbird, it says the password is wrong.
It took less than 24 hours for it to start working. Is "Deliver email to Inbox." checked in "Delivery Options" of your mailbox settings? I think that's what that does
I am having issues with a new email hosting too. How long did it take to fix itself? Emails are being forwarded but its not showing in the original email inbox.
The problem was resolved. It fixed itself over time, and to get the email to work with Thunderbird I had to enable remote access in the email hosting settings.
