Cannot log in to cpanel

Hi,
My website has been compromised some time ago and now I finally got down to clean the mess.
I would like to log in to my cpanel but I can't. I get the response that the login name is invalid (don't know the actual english phrase used because it's localised).

Could you help?

Okay, excellent. You can also email us with the IP address you're working from so we can check cPanel's firewall for any blocks.

Yes, it is the correct user name. But if you cannot see anything locked/blocked/disabled on your side then I guess it must be a password issue. I'll try to reset it.

Is that what you're entering as the username for your cPanel account? If so, that is incorrect. You can retrieve your cPanel username by following the instructions below:
