We are kicking off our launch of .IN with a blowout sale!  We are selling .IN for just $4.99 on the first year of registration!  ($3.99 for bulk, $3.75 for super bulk.)

Any additional years for 2nd level domains (example: yourdomain.in) will cost $14.99 per year.  ($13.99 for bulk, $13.75 for super bulk.)  Additional years for 3rd level domains (example: yourdomain.co.in) will cost $9.25 per year.  ($7.75 for bulk, $7.50 for super bulk.)

This offer does not apply to renewals or transfers.  This sale will end September 30, 2009 23:59 UTC.

Yes, anyone can buy IN domains. There is no nexus requirement.

We decided to push things a bit further and lowered the sales price for new .IN domains to $2.99!  ($1.99 for bulk, $1.75 for super bulk)  This is for the first year of any new .IN domain registration.
