RIP OFF RENEWAL

I am blown away by the price to renew a .tv domain!! I gave dynadot a chance having been using 123-reg for a number of years. Can some one explain why the renewal is 3 times the original price??

The low registration price we are able to offer on fresh TV registrations is the result of a special deal we were able to work out with VeriSign, the Central Registry for TV domains. Unfortunately, this rate was not extended to renewals or transfers.
