I got the email saying that all .com transfers will be 7.75 (no coupon needed), but it keeps coming up as 9.75 when I am in checkout.
What do I need to do to get it knocked down to 7.75?

The coupon will only work for .COM domains.  It looks like you were trying to use it for a different extension.
