Trying to get my .com IDN to resolve
7/30/2008 06:22
Hi,

I registered the domain name £sd.com (which is the British expression for money)

The other expression of this is:

www.xn--sd-9ca.com/

However, although I can ftp my test page to my host (where all my other sites work), when I type in £sd.com in my browser I get a message saying "Sorry, we couldn't find:

www.%EF%BF%BDsd.com/

Can anyone give me any guidance so I can get my website resolving please?

Is there something obvious I need to do?

Why does the holding page say it can't find
http://www.%EF%BF%BDsd.com/
when my £sd.com domain is registered as
http://www.xn--sd-9ca.com/

Thanks for any advice :)

Thank you very much. Actually I think it's just that my browser was wrong. I appreciate you checking for me though.

I visited both URL's and they both seem to be working.  You likely just needed to wait for the changes to propagate.
