We just added IDN support for INFO domain names for the following languages:

DA � Danish
HU � Hungarian
IS � Icelandic
KO � Korean
LT � Lithuanian
LV � Latvian
PL � Polish
SV � Swedish

Sorry, all domains are locked by Afilias until Nov 20.

If you check the whois on a domain, you will see that the domains have no name servers. That means we are not making money off the traffic for the locked domains.

The domains are server locked as soon as they are created. We don't get a chance to set the whois info, name servers, or transfer locks.

I don't think INFO IDN domains support French and Spanish. We emailed them and they said they only supported:

DA Danish
DE  German
HU  Hungarian
IS  Icelandic
KO  Korean

PL  Polish
SV  Swedish

haha pretty cool that dynadot makes money on our domains for "domain credits" ... sorry dynadot i'd rather use ND.

While I await the 11/20 unlocking, my domains are set to revenue parking.  However, they are not able to be seen by the outside world.  Is this normal?

what about IDN spanish and french .info domains

I see that french is available from some other registrars

Some more details:

There is a one month registry lock placed on all Info IDNs registered with with new language tags. This registry lock is placed by Afilias, and can not be lifted by Dynadot. The lock will be lifted on Nov 20.

We will not be able to set the whois info for the domain. It will show Dynadot LLC as the registrant. Once the lock is lifted, we will update your domains with the correct whois info.

If you register a domain using one of these new languages, it will be locked by Afilias until 2006/11/20.

This means that we won't be able to set the contact info or locks for the new domain. Once the lock is lifted, the domains can be used normally.
