When you register an IDN domain name, you specify the language. I expect that this information is part of the registration data. Yet it does not appear in the whois answers I get. Would you know of a way of checking the registered language of a name?
Or is that irrelevant?

If the domain was originally registered through Dynadot, we can tell you what language it is.  

However, I don't know of any other tools that can tell you the language of your IDN's.
