I recently changed hosting plans with the same company, but they used different dns servers. I've had the new settings for some time, but I got some automated warnings today about sites down. Several of the domains seem to be resolving to the wrong servers. Example: wondible.com DyanDot IP lookup has the right values:: Registry Name Servers dns.pair.com ns7.ns0.com Zone Name Servers dns.pair.com ns7.ns0.com But dig on my local computer has some old servers: dig wondible.com ; <<>> DiG 9.8.3-P1 <<>> wondible.com ;; global options: +cmd ;; Got answer: ;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 20004 ;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 1, AUTHORITY: 2, ADDITIONAL: 0 ;; QUESTION SECTION: ;wondible.com.
