Problem with MX records

Yesterday I registered a domain with dynadot.com. Now I try add my custom MX Records, that point to Google apps for your domain. But I always get an error "MX host 'aspmx.l.google.com.' is not in the correct format. An example of an MX host is mail1.myisp.com.".Why I can't enter these MX records? Thanks in advance

Okay see what you have here - aspmx.l.google.com.

Remove the period at the end and all will work fine

it should be

aspmx.l.google.com
