Problem with DNS
4/7/2007 01:07
Hello,
Since yesterday, I have change the DNS of my 2 domains. they must pointed towards another address IP: 87.106.97.37.

However that since this change, they always point towards old address IP: 82.165.8.58.

With IP LOOKUP of dynadot it posts new the IP, but with the PING of my PC it show the old one.

Thank you to help me

Have you tried the IP Tool in the control panel? That shows the current ip address for your domain, without caching.

Also, the Snapshot tool shows what your website looks like, without caching.

Please post your domain name so i can verify information.

However, your ISP more than likely caches DNS information, you have to wait 48hours or more for the dns changes to take effect.

The best option is to wait, or you can change your computer's dns information to something that updates a little quicker, such as http://opendns.com/.

Thanks.
Marc
