problem verifying account

I got an email saying I need to verify my account. I entered my number and waited, nothing. Somehow with my impatient clicking I lost the ability to enter the SMS code. I assumed my phone was not working with the system so used a friends number to receive the call.

Then the SMS came through but I couldn't enter the code and my friends phone wouldn't work with the call.

Now I have no more options to verify.

Can I get the system reset so I can use the SMS method and wait more patiently?
