Name Servers Not Working
11/21/2011 05:42
Up until recently, one if the domains I have was working fine. Now I find out that the name servers have changed since the site hasn't been responsive for a while. The old name servers are:

ns3.clanservers.com
ns4.clanservers.com

And the new name servers are:

ns23.clanservers.com
ns24.clanservers.com

However, when trying to add the new name servers to the domain and remove the old ones I get "One of the name servers you submitted does not exist; please check the spelling and try again". I have tried many things (I am not gonna say "I tried everything" -stupid saying), but nothing I have tried is working.

Are there any suggestions and is it possible the issue could be on the "clanservers" end or on Dynadot's end? Thank you for any assistance.

I just tried your domain and it appears to be online and working.  Though you are using GoDaddy's Name Servers rather than those of the hosting you purchased from us yesterday.

Those Name Servers aren't currently registered:

http://reports.internic.net/cgi/whois?whois_nic=ns24.clanservers.com&type=nameserver

You can compare that view with the old Name Servers, one as an example:

I'm experiencing something similar as well I think. My .com never opens, it just keeps loading and loading and finally times out. And I also cant access my cp.

OK, now I am being told that it is not fixed and that the issue is here at the registrar. Any ideas?
