ISP has cached domain and has not refreshed it.

both the IP lookup - and the snapshot tool say that my domain is ready-to-go. Still, when I try to visit the site, I get a 'server not found' error.

I've tried the Altavista's Babel Fish Translation trick, and this works fine.

The help files tell me 'my ISP has cached my domain and has not refreshed it.'
Unfortunately, there's no info on what to do about it.

can someone help me out?

Greetz!

This happens to my website everyday.
It's a bit of a pain.
Usually If i come here and click "grab snapshot", then i can access my website again from the domain name.

I can still access everything fine thru FTP, its just the DNS keeps flushing my website down the drain HAHAHA

You may just have to wait until the cache by your ISP expires. Though you can try contacting your ISP to see if they can clear their cache sooner.

Now that you mention it, im getting the same problem lol

What i've done for now is too set my old domain to the name servers so that way my isp hasnt already 'cached' it.

So until they clear it etc, i'm using my old domain to access the site.

One thing you should know is that most other people on the internet can see your new site, so away to access the site is too visit:

IP_OF_SITE_HERE/~username

E.G Mines: http://65.254.49.77/~koum/

username being your username when you signed up.

(SIDE NOTE):

Try going into CMD and typing, ipconfig /flushdns
