I need 7 MX records for Google email
3/5/2008 14:33
In order to use the name server at dynadot I need to submit 7 MX records per Google Apps email package. The current form for advanced DNS only has 3 entries.  Is there anyway to submit over 3 entries?

Hello,

Please verify that you are using Email Forwarding. it seems you haven't configured the MX Records.

Yes, 7 MX records are not necessary. Most domains in the world have only 1 MX record.

Hello,

I think it is enough to place 3 MX Records:

i.e.
aspmx.l.google.com Distance 0
alt1.aspmx.l.google.com Distance 1
alt2.aspmx.l.google.com Distance 2

Sorry there is no way to submit over 3 MX records at this time.  We do have your suggestion on our feature request list though.  You may want to see if there is a free DNS provider that can let you set up 7 MX records.  Then you can set your domain to use that DNS provider's name servers.
