http to a custom port. Must use stealth to do so?

I'm seeking http to redirect to a custom port (1000 instead of 80).
I'm looking for my domain name (e.g. xxxxxxx.xxx) to direct to an IP:port (###.###.###.###:####), while the domain name masks the IP:port in the URL.
The difference between this and stealth is that I don't want to use frames.

There is no way to do this with stealth forwarding but without any frames.  You may want to use our Advanced DNS setting and then have the web server perform the redirect to the custom port when receiving a web request for your domain.

You may also want to consider registering your own name servers, and then set up the custom port forwarding with your name servers.
