How do I create a subdomain

I want to create an "email" subdomain for my site thedigitalhive.net, so I can browse email.thedigitalhive.net.

Under the DNS tab, in the "Subdomain" field I enter email however I do not know what to enter in the "IP Address or Target Host" field. My site does not have a static IP address. I also do not know what type of Record to select.
