How can I forward email when the domain is forward away from Dynadot?

I have a domain name (trustediip.com) registered via dynadot.com which is pointing to a site not using Dynadot.com DNS servers. How can I forward email to another email address?

You can do that.

You would just fill out the forms on both the "Forwarding" and the "Email Forwarding" tab.

It looks like you've already correctly done that.
