Google Custom Domain
2/28/2008 11:10
I am trying to set up one of my domains as a custom domain with Blogger.

I have set up www.domain.com to go to ghs.google.com.

But, how would I setup domain.com to go there, AND, it asks for an IP address in Dynadot DNS.  Would that be the IP number that ghs.google.com resolves to, or something else?

Thanks in advance!

The only issue with using Google's IP address is that if they change it, your site will go down.

Hi All,
This is what i did at Dynadot.

Advanced Dynadot DNS Services
Just under this heading above there is a box for an ip address, i looked up google.com and got back this ip address 64.233.187.99 enter this ip address in the box. Then scroll to the  bottom and click use Dynadot Dns.
When the page as refreshed you will see

AnyDomain.com
is using Dynadot DNS
You can set your DNS settings(A records, MX records, CNAME records, and TXT record).

You then add your verify code (ahahsgsfsf)
Target host:  google.com
Click Use Dynadot DNS
Then go back to your Google apps dashboard (active)and it will light up like a christmas tree.

My start page for you to check..

Hello

I am quoting a post where dynadot's staff replied to same question:

It appears that Blogger does not give out name servers for your domain to use.  The "ghs.google.com" is for your CNAME records.  Information on how to set your CNAME records can be found in these forum threads:
