email forwarding snag

I have been forwarding email from my account to another email address, and just recently the forwarding has stopped. A friend set this up for me, so I don't know how to solve the problem. Can you offer some direction?

Can you check now? We learned yesterday that Comcast blocked our email forwarding server. The block was lifted yesterday afternoon.
