I just transferred a domain to Dynadot.  I had trouble with the previous registrar and so the process was just finalized with both parties today.  My control panel says the transfer will complete on or before March 9th.  The domain expiry date is today.  Now I know that the domain will transfer ok, BUT will the domain go into limbo before the transfer is completed.  Is my website going to go down from tomorrow until the 9th when the transfer completes?

It is possible that if your domain expires during the transfer, your website will become unavailable while the transfer is in progress. You might try asking your current registrar to keep your website online if this happens.
