Does it really take 30 DAYS to get account credit for deleted domains???

I just deleted a domain at Dynadot - a few hours after registering it at Dynadot (definitely less than the allowed 4 days) but it says it is scheduled for deletion in 30 DAYS!!!

Is this a temporary system error/erroneous message, or have things really changed so dramatically?

I thought the vast majority of deleted domains are canceled within 4-5 days - what am I missing here?

It appears that you submitted a regular deletion request. You would need to submit a grace period deletion request to receive an account credit:

If the grace period of deleting of the domain is still valid your domain will be deleted soon, Email support to guaranty your credit to be back safely.
