I would like to set up *.sub.example.com to point at an A record, so that anything.sub.example.com and somethingelse.sub.example.com will all point at the same ip address.. is this possible with dynadot?

Any update on this -- the lack of support for wildcards is both surprising and frustrating (enough that i am considering moving over 50 domains to another provider)

Dynadot does support wildcard domains, however, it is only supported on the subdomain level.

Sub.example.com would work fine, but not a sub of that, such as in the provided examples of  anything.sub.example.com and somethingelse.sub.example.com. Everything would redirect from sub.example.com to the IP address you want to point it to.
