I've tried to resolve this for quite some time now, but no luck. My latest attempt made it stop working entirely, my domain now goes to google.com :(
What I'm trying to do is set it so that www.podbreeze.com or podbreeze.com goes to sbpodbreeze.appspot.com, and I don't want to use frames. Can anyone please help me, or will I have to move the domain away from here?
The forum post you pointed to was resolved as a user error. I've had it working for the raw domain podbreeze.com, but so many users type in a www out of habit that that doesn't work.
I said in the very first post of the thread that I don't want no stinking frames, and I stand by that. Stealth forwarding uses an IFRAME, and I'd call that a frame any day.
Select "My Domains" from the left-side menu bar and click "Manage Domains" in the drop-down.
Check the box next to your domain name(s) and click on the "Action" button.
Choose "DNS Settings" from the "Action" list.
On the DNS page, select the "Stealth Forwarding" setting from the top drop-down menu.
Enter the URL of the web page you wish to stealth forward to, following the format of the example given. You may also enter the Title of the website here.
Press the "Stealth Forward Domain" button to save your changes.
NOTE:
Modern browsers often switch to HTTPS automatically when you input a domain name. If your forwarding URL points to an HTTP site, the browser may attempt to access the HTTPS version, which can lead to excessive redirects and make the site inaccessible. To avoid this issue, ensure your forwarding URL is set to HTTPS.
It might take some time for your name server changes to propagate
There are some drawbacks to using stealth forwarding.
Well, that works, but it's about as pretty as a severely beaten up asshole :( Any chance of getting what I actually thought I paid for, true DNS? So that the address bar still reads podbreeze.com or www.podbreeze.com? If not, I'm taking off into the twilight with my domains....
It looks like you need to set your domain forwarding. Please use the following steps:
How do I set up domain forwarding?
What is domain forwarding?
Domain forwarding is the process of redirecting a website visitor to another domain name prior to the initial webpage loading. This will prevent the user from visiting the original URL destination, and will instead forward them to a specified web address.
To set up domain forwarding on any of your domain names, please follow these steps:
