Verification emails are not delivered to me.
10/31/2014 02:02
Hello!
I've became an owner of some domain 15 days ago and received an email "Order Finished (order 2799569)". The next email I've received is "Since the contact record C-216123 has not been verified for 15 days, the domains below have been set to "registrant_unverified" status."
Contact Record page says verification email has been sent to me yesterday. I pressed a button again to resend it. And again in 15 minutes. Still no emails. I checked spam and all the other folders, verification emails are just missing, but others were delivered well.
Can you help me with that?

The issue here is that your email provider, mail.ru, is blocking all emails sent from @dynadot.com addresses. We have made several requests to have our addresses removed from their block list, but have heard nothing back yet.

In order to remove the hold from your domain, please edit your contact record to reflect a non-mail.ru email address. A new verification will then be sent to you.

To edit your contact record, please use the steps shown in the help file below:

How do I edit my domain contact records listed in the Whois?

To edit your contact records, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Dynadot account.
  2. Select "My Domains" from the left-side menu bar and then click "Contact Records" in the drop-down.
  3. Click on the link associated with the contact record you wish to edit in the "Name/Email" area.
  4. You will be prompted to unlock your account.
  5. Click again on the link associated with the contact record you wish to edit in the "Name/Email" area.
  6. Edit your contact information in the provided form.
  7. Click the "Save" button to save your changes.

NOTE: If you update a Whois contact record that is being used for a generic top-level domain (gTLD), such as .COM, you will receive a Whois Contact Record Verification email from [email protected] to your Whois registrant email (After you hit "Save", you will see information about whether or not this email has been sent out under the "gTLD Verification" section). You will need to click on the link in the email to verify your contact record. Failure to verify your contact record within 15 days will result in the suspension of the domains attached to that contact record (your domains will be set to parking).

Once you update your contact records for your domains, it might take a few days for the public Whois directory to update.
