Yes, they are now considered separate domains.  They can be managed separately, but will need to be renewed separately as well.

We have tagged all the unbundled domains into our system.  Unfortunately, the Registry we use to connect to CNNIC was never provided with the list of grandfathered domains, so they are only now adding them onto their database.  We have been assured that they are working to resolve this, byt we have no firm ETA on it yet.  We will keep you posted.
