You agree that, should You cancel or terminate this Agreement with Dynadot, You will not receive any refund or credit of any fees You may have paid to Dynadot, except as otherwise expressly stated herein. Should You elect to cancel or terminate this Agreement with Dynadot, You agree to provide at least thirty (30) days written notice to Dynadot in the manner prescribed in this Agreement.
Can someone explain this to me? I am a new customer with 75 domains I am considering transferring here. What it says to me is that, should I decide to transfer to another registrar I have to give 30 days notice and Dynadot may not let me go????
OK, fine, but then why does it say so in the Agreement and we all agree to it else we is toast?
Just asking -- I never saw a contract that threw restrictive clauses around without paying the piper somewhere, sometime.....
So, DynaStaff dude, are you binding your company beyond the terms of the Service Agreement (which also says anything Dynadot says cannot be held against it -- haha)?
You do not need to give 30 days notice before transferring your domains away. As long as there isn't any type of hold on the domains, you can transfer the domains at any time.
Nah not at all. You can transfer your domain names away from Dynadot anytime you like. The same as you can transfer your domain names away from any registrar at anytime.
