Referral links

The current way that the referral system is using isn't good by any way, why doesn't it give urls like www.dynadot.com/refid=1234567890 or something like this ?

the current one needs me to have the e-mail of the other guy whom i need to refer which isn't flexible

using the regular url method will help us putting links in our sites and generate some referrals

Our help section shows how to navigate to your referral code:

Our referral system is still the same. The referral code is listed in your account and it can be used in a url if the link is to our homepage. It would look like http://www.dynadot.com/?[your_referral_code]

Hey = maybe they don't want to!!. Why? Because so many people abuse these systems and SPAM people with information to register domains at this registrar or this registrar and who wears the can and accussed of SPAMMING while some 2 bit domain/email account owner gets the $$$.

Personally if I was DynaDot I would not move from the current system. I don't make more than a few new contacts a day and most don't need domain names so I don't need much more than they are offerring. As for links off a web site - a registered (with dynadot) referral page can be setup as a better system - stops spammers dead.

As you can gather I hate spammers with a devilish pashion.

Ok, we will add your request to our feature request list. That is a good idea.

We are also working on some banner ads, which you can use on your websites.
