Private registration

Hi

I've registered few domains here, with privacy protection.
On whois is shown

"My Name" c/o Dynadot Privacy
PO Box 701
San Mateo, CA 94401
United States

Why is that? Why is my name shown? On some other registrars this is not the case, for example on godaddy my name is not shown on whois

Other services are actually offering a proxy registration. We don't offer a service like that. Our privacy functions more as a mail forwarding service. We leave your name on the WHOIS record in order to prevent any confusion about who is the owner of your domain:
