One Detail About Customer IDs.

I Need Explain this a little.

If you check whois of dynadot.org and dynadot.info you find These:
Registrant ID:C-7

The number vary in each Registrar, i know, but is important to fight Identity Thieves or fake domains posing as ourselves.

Then, we as customers have our own ID, mine is
Registrant ID:C-17884

I know com and net have diff format in whois than org and info.

My problem is i need a registrar who show the number TOO in com and nets(for identity thieves protection). As the moment the only one Registrar who do that i know, is Moniker.com  example :

In moniker one com and org of mine have this :
Registrant ID:MONIKER649312
or Registrant [649312]:

Is possible to put the Dynadot ID in the whois of com/net ?

As the moment is the only reason i have to stay in moniker.

Sorry for Bump This.

I Think Is a Great Feature if can be implemented. Recently Moniker go downhill, and i want change more .com here but cant because that number.

I stay in the same idea now. Some Domains (100 to 200) need that for me and are in moniker because that.

By the way, my main registrar in number of domains now is moniker, then followed by dynadot, resell.biz and resellone.

Sorry for the delay in answer, i never see was edited.
With the time passed, i think is really a big difference. And if Is done, i pass other 100-200 domaisn with you before the prices raises.
---------------------------------------------
The problem is in the .org and info cases, you put the C-7 with the domain data.

Well, Suppose i am Jhon Doe with C-9887 and i buy

johndoe.com Show NOTHING
johndoe.info Show C-9887
johndoe.org  Show C-9887

As you can see i not put the net, is for example purposes.

Then we assume, other people, with bad intentions, buy with you The johndoe.net Mimic the Whois Info. We can't say at a glance if is or not the same guy.

But, if you put the C-9887, dont matter if is a Mimic / phising, because we always know is other contact and not the original.

By the way, is a little Step but can be really useful.

I can add it to the feature request list for you, though I don't know if or when we would implement it.

Could you explain how this ID would help fight against identity thieves?  It is not immediately clear to us how the registrant ID can give this kind of protection.
