DynaDot's Nameserver management scheme is not complete yet and needs work. Here are just a few incompetencies I've found:
1) https://www.dynadot.com/account/domain/server/list.html offers to "Delete checked nameservers" but there is no place to check the name server unless no domains are using it -- and then any attempt to delete is met with "name server is in use elsewhere". My solution is to try and transfer the domain to another registrar (I used Internet.bs which has a clunky but competient user interface) -- hopefully that will break DynaDot's hammerlock on the domain and let me restore it as our nameserver.
2) One cannot change the initial IP address for a name server. It changes on the DynaDot Account list but no change propogates. I've tried it with a benign IP address swap between NS1 and NS2 a week ago and it still has not porpagated. I tried it 12 hours ago with a more radical IP change and it too has not propagated.
IMHO the site software should have been at least feature complete before DynaDot stepped down its technical support.
