---------------

Before 1 Hours,I just received a email as follow,

This order has been cancelled since the original registrant has renewed the domain. Best Regards,Dynadot Staff(order 305316)
------------------------

In fact, I won the auction and already use my account balance to pay for such domain yesterday. However, Dynadot cancel my order because original registrant has renewed the domain.

I just wonder to know why Dynadot put the domain on auction before they have the right to sell it. It's not a good practice. And also, if Dynadot have the right to sell it, why Dynadot let the original owner renew this domain after I won this expired domain auction. This is not make sense.

Please explain,

Thanks

When a domain is deleted from an account because it's expired, the original owner have a period of time when he can renew it even if someone register it, the original owner is favorite than the new registrant.

Original owner should BID on the name in the auction, once someone puts a bid on it.

I would not be surprised if the owners are waiting to see if anyone is interested in their domain before they decide to renew. I believe this happens with GoDaddy/TDNAM now.

It is a chance you take I guess - would be nice if they warned you in advance of course.
