I have a domain at mydomain.com and I wish to transfer that domain to Dynadot (your service=way better :) ).

What are the steps I need to perform? I read something about authorization code, whats that and where can I get it?

Actually, the domain would need to be at least 60 days old before you can transfer it.  

You would get the Authorization Code from your previous Registrar.  Every Registrar handles the process differently, but you can contact them and ask them for directions.  

So the steps to transfer your domain to Dynadot are as follows:

1.  Unlock your domain.
2.  Retrieve your Authorization Code.
3.  You can input your domain name and Authorization code here and then proceed through checkout:

You have to get the Auth code from mydomain.com , And don`t forget that the domain must be registered for 1 month ago or more with mydomain.com.

Open your account area
Put the domain name and beside it you`ll find the Auth , put the cod there , And start transfer .

It is so easy .
