How long does it usually take after paying by credit card to be able to purchase domains?
I signed up and paid yesterday and I'm still "processing".

Usually only a few seconds. However, Dynadot is running incredibly slow lately for some reason. All types of orders are stuck in a pending state. It is making it very difficult to conduct business!
