firefox search plug in
7/2/2007 04:31
please please please, it's quite easy to do, a firefox brower search plug in, usualy nestles in top right screen, amazon, has on,e ebay, google, godaddy, etc etc, instead of looking for bookmark, and then clicking and then loading and then typing and searching  etc, as web developers always with ideas for domain, want to search for availability wuick quick by just typing in search bar top right and seeing results pronto.

For your serious considerations please.

Any chance that you could be willing to upload this to http://mycroft.mozdev.org/ - Mozilla's search extension download site?

thanks kewlceo, glad you like it, if any one is struggling with the instructions file, my apology, it should be c:\program files\mozilla firefox\searchplugins and not "proograms" you know how it is when you only have micro seconds to contribute :):):)

Hello everyone,

i could not resist just making it myself. and it works perfectly!!!! now everytime i am browsing and i want to register pronto pronto, its a 2 second process.

Because I love dynadot so much and i get bulk discounts and they are cheaper than "someone's daddy" and answer all my queries within hours i have made it public to everyone.

1. uploaded the search plugin to http://rapidshare.com/files/41119629/dynadot.zip

All the files you need to make it work, it's 2 simple files, dynadot.src + dynadot.gif. Just unzip the archive and copy the 2 files to c:\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins\

restart firefox and hey presto!

If this offends the staff, that i went and made an unauthorized thingy me jig, sorry, but hey it should INCREASE business rather than deter it!

Thank you for the suggestion. We do have this request on our feature request list, though, there is no set time frame for implementing it.
