Will you guys be joining the Fabulous DDN system?

It looks like it might really take off and I can see a mass exodus of poftfolios if you don't because a lot of domain resellers will want to be at a registrar that offers it.

register.com has now joined Fab's DDN.

Go to register.com and search on "dog"

See all the premium domains listed?

They're not registered at register.com, their across the network.

If dynadot joined the network and you had a domain "dogtreats" registered here and loaded into the DNN, it would be listed there at register.com and might sell via the system, getting you a sale, and a commission to both register.com AND dynadot.com

Wake up and smell the coffee, dynadot!

That page reads more like an advertisement than like anything resembling a serious attempt at journalism.

I suppose this will need to prove its worth, same as any other new business venture. Time will tell.

Rumour is Tucows will be connecting up to it soon.

It is still not certain if we will be joining the Fabulous DDN system.

Where is Dynadot currently on joining the Fabulous DDN connection?

Creating their own system won't be anything like joining Fabulous's DDN network.

The beauty of joining Fabulous's system is that our domains registered at Dynadot can be displayed for sale throughout the network whenever somebody searches for a similar domain at say, GoDaddy, Enom, Tucows or Netsol.  That is ALOT of reach!

Supposedly registrar partners are going to be announced at Taffic next week, but GoDaddy is in already.

If you don't think it's worth joining and think that Dynadot would be better off creating their own DDN system, you clearly have no idea how it works.

Did you READ those posts on Frank Schilling's blog? I don't think you did.

Dynadot may create their own DDN system instead of join Fabulous DDN system.

That's a shame.

I don't think you realise just how big that is going to be.

People are going to demand it in the future and you might see quite an exodus of domains out of your system towards registrars that offer it.

The ideal thing would be for you to get on the DDN fasttrack, because that way you would see a mass influx of names.

This is going to be HUGE, people, HUGE. Don't miss the boat!
