Everything is great except from one very important feature that is missing and is very frustrating

I started using Dynadot for a few weeks now and I am one very happy customer, I love the control panel, the interface, generally everything, except one thing.

I cannot mass edit a list of domains. Let's say I want to edit the Nameservers for a list of 300 domains, out of a portfolio of 1000 . Can you imagine what it means to go through the list and select the domains one by one? Impossible for a normal human being, unless he remembers all 300 names and has a lot of free time to spare.

I am an owner of a 1000+ domain portfolio and if Dynadot adds this feature, I would gladly gradually move all of my domains here. But until they provide this feature I can't accumulate a big number of domains in my dynadot account because I will not be able to manage them - my main concern is the Name Servers but it would apply to other settings as well.

This is a very important feature, and since everything in Dynadot is so organized and convenient, I am very surprised that you have not added this relatively simple feature to your control panel.

Please add it....

Unfortunately, our interface doesn't currently have the ability to bulk search for your domains.  It's a good idea and I'll add it to our feature request list.

Phicore does suggest what could be a viable work around in your case.  You could organize your domains into folders.  So if you have 100 domains that use the Name Server ns1.mydomain.com, you can put all your domains in "Folder 1,"  'Folder 2" can be reserved for domains that use Dynadot Parking and so on.

btw, if you really need that feature like you mentioned it (paste domains -> do action), i think you can hire someone to code it and itll work :-)

they have that already but in a different way i guess, im pretty sure they dont like you mentioned it, you can click select all to have all domains selected, you can also organize domains into folders based on your own criteria for easy "select all" access

Thanks for the reply

I know that I can select the domains one by one, but this is not efficient and if I want to edit the nameservers of hundreds of domains, I hate the idea to have to go through my 1000 domains one by one and find the ones that need to be changed.

There should be an box where I can paste the domains I want to modify and then go ahead and modify them. This would take 3 minutes maximum, whereas having to click on the domains one by one would take considerably longer.

I don't think it's hard to implement such a feature... this should be a standard among registrars that handle big portfolios.
