Just received this bounce:

(I'm doing wildcard/catchall forwarding from a dynadot parked domain to another email account, and I just received a bounce from that email account saying that dynadot email is being rejected)

174.132.76.4 does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 550-"JunkMail rejected - parkmail.dynadot.com [208.78.242.183] is in an RBL,
550 see http://www.spamhaus.org/SBL/sbl.lasso?query=SBL87946"
Giving up on 174.132.76.4.

Dynadot email forwarding still functions perfectly for my Dynadot domains.

I am getting no problems -- but I host my own server where my DD-registered domains are located, and each email account hosted there as well. I would say that would be the best temporary solution -- find another server to forward from and send email from. But I do not understand why DD just doesn't do the same thing -- pick up a virtual account for cheep and move everyone who needs the service over to it??

Certainly is a verrrrry serious problem for those who depend upon a non-RBL area.

Any update about this issue?

It look like not only email forwarding, but no email for invoices, etc. And I'm afraid the email renewal will have issue too.

This makes your email forwarding service essentially useless to me, so I hope you can remedy the situation as soon as possible.

In the meantime, any email I receive at my dynadot hosted email address is being bounced back to the sender with a permanent error because the server I forward the dynadot email to is rejecting based on the spamhaus listing.

This is not a good thing!

Spamhaus sent us a list of domain names that they wanted us to disable.  They didn't provide any proof of Spam activity, so we didn't disable the domains.

They blocked our IP addresses.  We are working to get unblocked, but aren't sure how long that will take.

Our Spam policy is outlined here:

What is your Spam Policy?

Dynadot does not allow its services to be used for the transmission of spam. If we receive any complaints about your domain being used to send spam, we will promptly start an investigation. First, you will receive an email warning from us notifying you that we have received a spam complaint for your domain(s), and asking you to stop sending spam.

If you choose to ignore our warning and continue to send spam, we will deactivate your domain or disable your entire Dynadot account (depending on the severity of the situation). You will no longer be able to control the name servers for your domain(s), and instead an error page will appear in its place. You will not receive a refund or an account credit.

To report a domain that has sent spam, please submit a spam complaint.

From Help Section: Domains > What is your Spam Policy?
