Hello, what order number are you referring to?
Looks I just sent you an email regarding this request.
Looks I just sent you an email regarding this request.
hi how are you doing, yesterday I submitted a domain for deletion within the grace period and I would like a refund instead of credit my order number is 1497782
let me go check it
We can not switch to refund until the Grace Delete has completed. Please resubmit your request at that time.
* Grace delete can not always be filled. We will do our best.
ah ok why 2.50 on the help section it said 2.00
The fee was increased in the last week. We sent emails out to all our customers but I guess did not update the help section. I'll see if I can do that now.
well i submitted the deletion within the given time and excepted for this domain to be deleted and refunded back
well it wasnt stated on the websited and I wasnt given a notice
There are no guarantees with Grace Deletes even within the first 5 days
Regarding the price increase, you were sent an email on Aug 26
really i might just forget about dynadot and move over to godaddy if you are not giving me the customer service i deserve
The effective date is September 1
I don't understand the issue you are having with the service
From the website "Most domains can be grace deleted within 5 days of registration. You can request a grace deletion from the control panel in the account area. We will give a Dynadot account credit for the full purchase amount minus the deletion fee. This credit can be used for future orders. ICANN limits the deletion rate for the gtlds (non country tlds such as .COM, .NET, .ORG, etc.). .IN domains also have this limit. If the 'Curr Rate' field is close the the 'Max Rate' field, your grace deletion may not be processed. If this happens, you have to keep the domain"
ah ok
no problem then
can you please find out about the domain
i would like to process the deletion as soon as possible then i can get my refund
Your domain is in the deletion queue bu we are near max rate with a total queue of 40
Web will do our best to process your request
so by tomorrow it should be deleted
I really can't say. It depends on the number of registrations between now and then

please check with your survisor
supervisor*
I'm sorry but this is how the process works. You submit your request, we do our best to fulfill it.
It is all clearly stated on our Grace Delete page
well i want my refund, even if its after the grace period is over, i process this request within the grace period time
That is not the only requirement. There are other factors.
and if this refund isnt issue after delete i will get a LAWYER and we can handle this case in court if you would like too
Did you read the information on our website?
Our ability to grace delete any domains depends solely on how many domains we register per month versus the number of domains we grace delete for that month. If the deletion rate is already at its maximum deletion rate, there is a possibility that your domain will not be deleted. Our system will make every attempt to fulfill a grace deletion request, but you will have to keep the domain if it is not deleted.
Most grace deletions are processed in a few minutes unless there is a maximum deletion rate for that TLD or domains on the waiting list.
i process the grace deletion within the given time, how do i know as a customer you just dont want to do your job or your company wants to keep the money because you are about to go backrupt
The deletion rates and current waiting list are all listed on the page
that statement does show justice at all
find out if i am on the deletion list right now
I told you you were
because i requested for this in given time period
I understand that, that is not the issue
ok if i am on the deletion list then i should get my refund
not necessarily
there are other factors

i would like my refund

do you want to handle this in court or do you want to be clean about this
We have been very clear
http://www.dynadot.com/domain/grace_deletion.html
This is a service we provide our customers when possible
listen i will get lawyer tomorrow and you will be hearing my attorney if we dont get this settle today
Ok
are you going to take care of this matter right now
No, I have explained the process to you
If your domain is deleted, you will receive account credit. If we can not delete the domain in time, you will have to keep it.
well you will be hearing from my lawyer tomorrow if i dont see this issue resolved
Dynadot has provided the best and fastest service to me since I started using their service.
I have requested that a site name be stopped before and I did understand the returned fee would be credited to my account. I think it was a late night miss-spelled name or whatever, but they stopped it and returned my credit real fast.
It sounds like this request from j_s_hilo_us is not the first. As for lawyers and GoDaddy, please Do! go to them and cry on their shoulder.
I've always had top-notch customer service from Dynadot.
Never have I bought a domain and then thought to hand it back within the grace period but then again I'm generally pretty sure I want the domain when I register it.
'you will be hearing from my lawyer tomorrow if i dont see this issue resolved' - dude, this is ridiculous.
Not necessarily true. We're at the months end, the worst time to do grace deletions.
There was a cap that was put on registrars for grace deletions. In fact, some of the registrars REMOVED the feature and force people to keep the domains (sometimes this can be worked around by e-mailing) while Dynadot kept the feature active, but had to put the deletion fee in order to keep it fair for people (which at first I did not like, but later accepted. I don't delete often, so can take the hit every now and then).
Pretty much just need to keep up with domaining news to understand the whole situation. Everything was actually mentioned in the chat transcript as I read above... a Google search would have also given you more detailed information regarding the cap and how it all played out.
Horrible is a 'horrible' word and should be used in situations that are fit... this is not one of those cases. I'm not even sure why I'm still typing for this reply... but best of luck.
I believe all that needs to be said is contained within this chat session. Grace Deletion requests are processed whenever possible. This is a service we provide to our customers. Not all Registrars do.
