Domain transfer processing, but taking too long

I have initiated a domain transfer from 1&1 on 2012/03/22, and the order got processed and tells me "initiated, should be completed on or before Thursday, Mar. 29".

It's now March 28, and it show 92% of completion. Every day it advances a little bit, but I'm afraid of passing the final date and the transfer failing.

Is this delay normal?

Yes, it usually takes exactly 6 days for transfer orders to complete.
