Domain Privacy Issues
8/5/2008 09:07
Taking into consideration the following document:

Does Dynadot have any plans at all to offer a second level of Domain privacy to those that want it? It seems to me that since Dynadot has a good understanding of the pitfalls of using domain proxies, it could somehow create some kind or arrangement where this could be an option for customers without raising the risk factors.

I've not been a customer here for any great length of time, but it's become apparent that some of my clients simply do not want to move their registrations here because of this issue. Telling them that Godaddy is risky isn't enough, if they've never experienced problems for themselves as I have with that registrar.

There is no way that we could implement a privacy service where the registrants name is hidden.  Based on ICANN's current rules, that type of registration is considered a Proxy registration.

We have no plans or interest in offering a Proxy registration service, sorry.

A reply one way or the other would be appreciated.
