Cancelled auction wins

Dear Dynadot, I think you should "rethink" your process here. If you allow the original domain owner an additional grace period to renew domain after an auction has been won, then you should notify the auction winner after the grace period is finally over. Cancelling an auction win on a dropped name which theoretically is deleted / released is not  a nice "user experience", and leaves doubt around the integrity of such transactions, something I personally do not hope to experience again.

Thank you for your feedback. There is always a 3-4 day period after an expired auction ends during which the listed Registrant can still renew the domain. If this happens, we absolutely send the auction-winner an email to let them know. I do apologize if this has been a negative experience for you. We do, of course, need to make sure all Registrants receive their full and complete renewal grace periods.

Once the domain is added to your account, the ownership change is complete. An 'Order Finished' email will be sent to you at this time.
