bulk pricing qualification

Please consider total spending for bulk pricing qualification instead of spending in last 365 days?

I think the most important thing is that the account user must have enough credits into the account to use resellering after $500 spending in total instead of just the last 365 days. Isn't it better?

It takes us a lot of computer resources to support the API. API users set up scripts that send commands 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. That is why we only offer it to bulk customers at this time.

Perhaps we can offer a limited API access to all customers. For example, you can only do a limited number of searches or registration attempts per hour.

Plenty of registrars CHARGE you for their API, so I think it's totally fair. Besides, the more people with API access, the more the server gets hammered with requests, so there is a cost to it.

I don't think it's fair that you have to be a bulk payer to have access to the API :(

The current bulk pricing plan is not fair... It favors those that don't spend that much $($500).

Those that spend $4000 dollars should get 8x the amount of time for bulk status.  (8 years for $4000).....

It ain't fair I know but to us spending the big $ it is.

Sure, it would be better for us, but not necessarily for Dynadot. Some registrars require a prepay of almost $7,000 in order to get prices as low as we're getting in the bulk program here.
