Bulk Name Server Change problem

Recently I attempted to delete all nameservers not being used under the nameservers tab.

However the function doesn't always work.... there seems to be a bug.

All of the domains were transferred from 123 reg to Dynadot. I set them up to be on Dynadot web forwarding and thus the nameservers being used are Dynadots.

When using the Names server tab under (My Account > Domains > Namesservers) the old 123 reg nameservers are listed.

When clicking 'show all domains' to establish what domains use these nameservers all of the transferred domains appear.

When attempting to change all of them to Dynadot nameservers the following error is produced...

"Can not bulk name server change:

   * The domains using the name server ns.123-reg.co.uk may be expired or don't have the name server as it's "currently active" selection. Please either renew your domain, or, in the blue box below, click on each domain name to change its name server settings."

None of the domains have expired but most are using Dynadot Forwarding.  I can manually process every single one but the bulk command doesn't let me do it.  All I want to do is remove unused nameservers from the list.

Is there something I am not doing correct?

Hello,

Even though your domains may not be currently set to use name servers, it may still be set in your "Name Servers" section.  For example, if you were originally using name servers and then later switched to forwarding, your name server settings will still be there.

Our system works this way in case you need to easily switch back to your original name server settings.  Unfortunately, if you try to bulk update domains that have name servers set but the domains are not using name servers, that error message occurs.  For now, I believe you will need to update the settings one at a time.

Best Regards,
