Hello all, a few hours ago I got an interesting phone call, and feel this place to be the best for me to report about it.


I got a phone call from someone, problem is, the line kept on breaking up on me so I could not follow what the person was saying.

++ I did catch something to do with domain name(s)
++ Something like 'what are you using'
++ And Dynadot LLC was said at the end.

I asked the person to send something via email, and I think I got something like 'yes I can do that'.

Then I had to hang up, because the line was of such a bad nature. Even when I could hear the person speak, it was just not good at all.


Now I do have a number of domain names with Dynadot, and there are some reasons for why they could have been trying to phone me which includes,
++ Someone from Dynadot??
++ Someone wanting to buy a domain from me
++ Perhaps someone from Ican or whois, or whomever it is checking up on the phone number.

++ or perhaps someone else whom I can not think of.

Hmm, we checked our records and don't see any attempts from us to call you so you may want to be cautious the next time you receive that call.  We generally communicate through email so there's a written record of everything.
