Transferring Domains
1/26/2007 05:37
Hello, I was wondering if there is anyway to transfer a dynadot domain name to a different company. Do I have to wait 'till it expires or is there another way? I noticed in the whois records it says:
Registrar Status:       clientTransferProhibited

I'm not exactly sure, so any reply would help. :)

Unlocking your domain, which makes the domain available to transfer, will change that status message. Our help section shows where to unlock your domain: http://www.dynadot.com/help/question.html?aid=71

Out of curiosity why are you transferring - DynaDot is one of the better registrars.

Regardless you do it from the new registrars end. You set up a trensfer to them from DynaDot.

Be aware of any fees they may charge you.
