Issues with DNS through Dynadot
11/22/2014 05:09
Hello all, I recently transferred my server to a new MSP. When I did this I updated all of the DNS records in Dynadot and removed all the old DNS records and Nameservers. I am now using the Dynadot nameserver, and from every resource I have accessed on the web (IPlookup and a few other online DNS lookup applications) the DNS record is updated. However, on my machine and everybody elses machine they still are not directed to the correct IP. I have tried flushing my DNS, but that hasn't helped.

Whenever I do a tracert or ping it still goes to the old IP. Anybody know what is causing this, and how to fix it?

That is the worst kind of caching because you can't do anything about it. You may be waiting ~48 hours.

Found out it's just the ISP DNS records not updating T_T. Who knows how long it will take them.
